Hey there!
Well, i just opened my blogsite to update it and couldn't believe it has been over a month! We have been so busy.
In january we started some new classes - i was in gymnastics and one hour of preschool and week, and we added some 25 minute swimming classes. I go twice a week in the eve with dad and then on the weekend i go with my cousin Ariadnee. I am quite the little swimmer. Then my mom took me swimming at the rec center and she thought i was drowning when all i was doing was floating around in the water! luckily she didn't freak out at all and embarrass me!
So all the classes have been keeping us busy - mom or dad takes zac to a music class that runs the same time as my preschool class - they have had to get creative figuring out how to do things for us now that there are two. Now that there are two of us we also stopped going to the littel gym in january and will start gumnastics at the rec center in march. I'm not missing the gymnastics because i am so in tothe swimming these days!
Zac is a talking fool now - mom counted 35 words a couple months ago, and now he saying too much to count! they still can't remember what his first word was. He is starting to put words together too. He tells mom the belt on his car seat is "too tight" and he said "daddy down stairs" yesterday, and sings "mama mama mama mama's boy". Mom and Dad are amazed. He is getting really comfortable in the water too - blows bubbles and holds his breath for a few seconds. Mom thinks it was the best idea in the world to teach us to swim during the winter. Going to the pool has helped us all feel less stir crazy, but we are really tired at the end of the day!
Dad cut zac's hair for the first time (other that cutting straggling hairs) about three weeks ago and then again about a week ago - trying to fix the mess he made the first time. Not the easiest thing to do, cut an 18month old kid's hair. It looks cute, anyway. And zac got his 18month check-up and weighs is at a whopping 23.4 lbs, which is only the 17th percentile. and he is in the 23rd percentile for height and 67 percentile for brain (head) size. Dad said he sure doesn't feel light when he is carrying him around. And dad should be strong now too - he is riding his bike and running and doing pilates and push ups all the time. And he still thinks zac is heavy!
While dad is obsessed with training - I think he is planning a triathalon somewhere in the future-
mom is obsessed with her new jewelry business she started at the end of january. She is going to these goofy jewelry parties and always talking to people about this Silpada jewelry. Dad says "all Silpada, all the time" and laughs. She is bugging me to make a plug for her, so if you want to see what she is selling, go to www.mysilpada.com/maya.adams - but that will be the last time i plug her stuff! She says she wants it to help pay for her bike gear this summer, with her being in the Boulder Title 9 bike club and all.
Anyway, long update, but making up for lost time... hope everyone is happy and well.
