I am THREE!

Last wednesday (the 9th) i turned three years old! what a great day. i made cupcakes with mom in the early morning - there is nothing like eating fresh made chocolate cupcakes for breakfast! Then we biked to preschool and back and jumped immediately in to the car to go pick up nana from the airport. We had to park way far away from the airport and take the shuttle, because all the parking lots near the airport were full. So mom and zac and i all piled in to the shuttle, rode it to the airport, then went in and waited for a while till nana arrived. Mom said I was so good and patient. We walked around the airport and played on all the couches and looked out the huge windows. Then i layed on the ground near the escalators where nana would come up and just waited patiently. Mom was so pleased with me. Then we saw nana! she arrived and is going to stay with us for 6 days. I was so excited! We made it home - both zac and i passed out in the car on the way, zac was melting down on the shuttle on the way back to the car. it was a long morning. That evening we went to dave and busters for my birthday dinner - that was the first time any of us had been there - lots of noisy video games, but i did win a necklace -which added to the dress up stuff nana got me for my birthday.

The next day mama worked, but i went with nana and dad and zac to the mall to the make-a-bear place. My aunt jana got me that for my birthday and i made a puppy border collie and picked a green dress for her and called her Tinkerbell. i have slept with her every night since. I also received my present from grandma and jiddo in the mail - i love getting packages now! I opened it right away, because mom wasn't there to make me wait. hee hee.

Then friday we did some things to get ready for my birthday party, but basically rested, because saturday was a huge day! Saturday we decorated in the morning, and then everyone came over and had lasagna and pizza. then they all sang happy birthday and we had cake and icecream. i am getting really good at blowing candles out! Then we had a pull-string pinata that didn't work - mom ended up having to pull it open to get all the candy. but it was lots of fun. what a day.

Nana is here for one more night - she leaves tomorrow, and i am going to be sad - i have slept with her everynight and i only want her to help me out of my car seat. Mom and dad have been replaced - i don't have to share her with ANYone!

That is all for now, enjoy the pictures!

Halloween

Well, monday we had a great time trick or treating around tia and sammer's neighborhood. I was SO excited... mom and dad could barely contain me. I was a kitty cat and zac was a pumpkin. Even zac got in on it - he would go up to the bowl of candy and take one or two and put it in his pumpkin. We all had a great time.

Last friday i went in for my three year check up - i am 33 lbs (70-75%) and 37 inches (50%) tall. And everything else is just great - the greatest was that i didn't need any shots. yay! The day before zac fell all the way down the stairs - so mom spent part of my check up time talking to the doc about zac (he is fine).

Yesterday Erik and Heidi went out and they left Anika (3 months) at our house for a few hours. I was SO excited, i could barely keep my hands off of her - i called her my little sister. Mom realizes now, very concretely, the advantage of having had zac when i had no interest in babies. That made her feel better about this past difficult year.

Dad has made huge steps in getting the deck done. It is beautiful. Just a few more rails and balusters, and then the steps to finish. yay!

talk to you later.....
